Elder Helpers
Elder Helpers is a user-friendly, web-based service. We believe that compassion at its finest is free. Volunteers register to offer their services based on their true desire to help elders. The Elder Helpers program strives to safely and conveniently connect these dedicated, passionate volunteers with elders in their local communities. We are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation (nonprofit) established in the United States since 2008.

Habitat for Humanity
With the support of community partners, donors and volunteers, Habitat LA constructs new or renovates existing homes alongside Habitat partner homebuyers. Our partner homebuyers make a small down payment and monthly mortgage payments, and they invest 200-500 hours of sweat equity hours building their future Habitat home and the homes of other Habitat homebuyers. Habitat homes are sold to partner homebuyers at no profit and are financed with affordable loans.

Meals on Wheels
During the pandemic, we sent $31.3 million directly to the frontlines. That’s more than 1,000 grants to support 628 local communities. Our impact spanned the nation and went into the communities that needed it most. Thanks to our generous donors, we’ve been able to provide healthy meals, social contact and a watchful eye for millions of seniors. But, our work has just begun. We still need to safely serve seniors in need through the end of the pandemic and long into the future.
