Organizations Run By Students
COVID-19 Children's Release Fund
With schools closing due to the COVID-19 virus, nearly 22 million kids who rely on free meals are living without enough food. The non-profit organization No Kid Hungry works with local governments, food banks, schools, and families to ensure that every child has access to food during this crisis. My goal is to collect $5.00 from as many people as possible to help this organization get food to the children who are most in need right now. 100% of the donations go directly to No Kid Hungry. Renown
During this strange and challenging period in history, we are all asked to do one simple thing: stay at home. Whilst we stay at home, doctors and nurses on the frontline are risking their lives coming to work. At Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV, doctors and nurses are only allowed one protective mask per week, increasing their risk of exposure to the virus. In hopes of aiding these doctors with more protective masks, we are asking you to donate any amount that you can. The lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) in hospitals nationwide has been exposed, and the most concerning factor is the lack of N95 & KN95 protective masks. As opposed to basic surgical masks, N95s are designed to prevent 95% of airborne particles from making facial contact. Currently, the United States is unable to meet the demand for N95s & KN95s, both due to a mismanaged supply chain and lack of facilities on our own soil. However, after establishing private relations with a Californian supplier, we are hoping to provide a minimum of 3,000 masks to Renown Regional Medical Center. Currently treating many confirmed patients, doctors are fearful that many more are to come. Our hope as donors is to not only provide Renown doctors with the equipment to best fight the current crisis, but also future ones.

A Bridge Home
This is a GoFundMe page that I am setting up for a project supporting homeless veterans, which is an issue that is very dear to my family. Governor Gavin Newsom, Mayor Eric Garcetti, and Council member Mike Bonin have made it a priority to open A Bridge Home in Brentwood that can house over 100 veterans. During this terrible pandemic and in any event, it is especially important to care for our homeless.
Food For Hospitals and Homeless Shelters
This is a GoFundMe to support Cedars-Sinai Hospital, St. John’s Medical Center, and various LA homeless shelters by donating the goal of 100 individually wrapped meals per location. Looking for donations to sponsor the food expenses so we can nourish front-line workers!
LA Family Housing - Amazon Wishlist
Support Los Angeles Family Housing’s continued initiative to get people experiencing homelessness off the streets and into self-isolation during COVID. The most necessary items are included in their Amazon wishlist and all purchases should be sent directly to their Lankershim campus. Any donation helps protect people seeking housing and allows us to better flatten the curve!
Fuel The Frontline- Care Package Donations
You can make a difference to the essential frontline workers fighting COVID-19. You want to help from home, but don’t know how? Send an essential frontline worker the meal, gift card or care package they need now. Who are essential frontline workers? People without the option to work from home. (Think: Hospital/Healthcare, MTA employees, Sanitation Workers, Elderly Aids…) Why do they need our help? They’re working around the clock and in harm’s way. They don’t have time to shop, or meal prep, they aren’t and shouldn’t be running errands, and they need supplies the most. Why you? Like us, you’re home, you’re healthy (we hope!), you’re bored, and you can’t stop watching the news. You want to help, but don’t know how. Why us? Prospr.Work is dedicated to supporting frontline workers, and frontline teams. This is the best way we know how.
