What is Community Council?
Welcome to the unofficial Upper School Community Council website. The mission of the HW Community Council is to encourage, support, and facilitate each student's involvement in lifelong community service endeavors in order to both address the needs of our greater society and build a stronger school community within. The administration wanted community service to be more reflexive to the student body by creating a 16 person student lead Community Service Council. Thus the Community Council was born. Our goal is to engage the Harvard-Westlake and the broader community at large through service based events.
